Language requirements for master's programmes

Foreign language skills at level UNIcert® II/B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or even UNIcert® III/C1 CEFR are required for admission to a number of our master's programmes. Language certificates should be handed in to the Student Registration Office or sent to Wolfgang Killer by e-mail. The rules below apply.

You received your bachelor’s degree from the University of Passau	You have successfully completed a subject-specific language programme (FFA) at Intermediate level (minimum mark: 4.0)	B2 CEFR

DAAD language certificates are not recognised.
We do not accept certificates issued more than two years ago.
