There are several possibilities to have your language level certified:
Entry in your Transcript of Records (ToR)
Courses you complete are automatically recorded in your ToR. However, as the transcript of records does not include a description of your language competence, information on your language programme or the duration and content of your examinations, it is of limited use to external readers. We therefore recommend the following two options:
FFP I/FFP II subject-specific language certificates
Like the UNIcert® certificates, the FFP certificate is both transparent and meaningful, containing a description of your language competence, the scope of courses attended and their CEFR levels as well as the duration and contents of your language examinations.
The FFP certificate is available in law and economics for the two highest levels (FFP I, FFP II).
An FFP certificate for cultural studies is currently in preparation.
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL®) is a leading international language test for academic English. The TOEFLITP® test, part of the TOEFL® test family, serves schools, universities and other organisations as a flexible, cost-effective and reliable tool for assessing listening and reading comprehension as well as grammar skills for academic English.
All transcripts and certificates can be collected from the office of Ms. Ulrike Buchheit (Nikolakloster building, Innstrasse 40) during office hours.
