The FFA for Computer Science programme
The FFA for Computer Science programme, which is only offered for English, provides subject-specific knowledge and skills for computer-science-related degree programmes and occupations.
Entry requirements
You have to:
- be enrolled in one of the degree programmes administered by the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics
- take a placement test prior to registering for the FFA programme
Structure
The FFA programme is split into two levels: Intermediate and Advanced.
Advanced level concludes with the subject-specific language examination for computer science students, or Fachspezifische Fremdsprachenprüfung (FFP) für Informatiker in German. The FFP examination consists of two written examinations — one for each semester — and an oral examination.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate that lists your examination scores and competencies.
Certificates
All transcripts and certificates can be collected from the office of Ms. Ulrike Buchheit (Nikolakloster building, Innstrasse 40) during office hours.
